WHAT ARE THE BASIC DIFFERENCES AND SIMILARITIES BETWEEN UPPSC AND UPSC EXAMINATION?

The government exam aspirant is so much focused and serious for its preparation that they have developed an aim that I aim to serve the nation and in order to fulfill that aim they are just finding the medium through which they can do this and for this on there way any path in the form of any exam is upcoming is taken by them with full zeal and commitment.

With this idea in mind we are taking up the two most demanding and highly popular exams in our country for which the aspirants who are preparing for is also common that is the probability of the students attempting for the UPSC examination is almost similar to whom are trying for the UPPSC examination. So, with this idea in mind let us take their differences and similarities both one by one.

I.EXAM AUTHORITY

UPSC: The UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination (CSE) at the national level. It is responsible for recruiting candidates for various All India Services and Central Civil Services.

UPPSC: The UPPSC conducts the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) examination specifically  for the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is responsible for recruiting candidates for various state government services within Uttar Pradesh.

II.RECRUITMENT

UPSC: Candidates can join numerous important central services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and many more, by passing the national UPSC examination.

UPPSC: Only the state of Uttar Pradesh is eligible to take the UPPSC exam, which offers jobs in state-run organizations such as the Uttar Pradesh Police Services, Uttar Pradesh Civil Services (Executive), and others.

III.PATTERN

UPSC: The UPSC CSE consists of three stages: the Preliminary Examination (Prelims), the Main Examination (Mains), and the Interview/Personality Test. The Prelims has two papers - General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II (CSAT).

UPPSC: The UPPSC PCS examination also consists of three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview. The Prelims have two papers - General Studies I and General Studies II (CSAT), similar to UPSC.

IV. COMPETITION

UPSC: Because of the enormous number of applicants and the difficulty of the exam, the UPSC CSE is regarded as one of the most competitive and difficult exams globally.

UPPSC: Despite its tough nature, the UPPSC PCS is typically regarded as less demanding than the UPSC CSE because of its smaller applicant pool and more focused attention on Uttar Pradesh.

V. ELIGIBILTY

It is important for candidates to note that there may be minor variations in the official notices regarding the eligibility requirements for both exams, including age restrictions and educational requirements.

As a serious candidate, you should therefore review the full module and all of the exam's sections if you are willing to prepare for both examinations and want to take both. Then, you should begin your preparation in the appropriate manner. While there are many parallels between the two exams, there are still some variances, as seen by their respective syllabuses, thus it is still vital to prepare according to the exam's requirements.
