WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO START PREPARING FOR UPSC EXAMS?

In the actual world, there are countless applicants who think that the UPSC is the sole thing they are keen to complete in life or what I would call as a primary focus of their lives. Do you, however, think that simply thinking about it will solve the problem? No, not at all. You must work for it, and only then will you be able to realize your goals and fulfil your aspirations.

Now, if you've considered beginning your UPSC preparation, I must congratulate you because you've already taken the first step. Because this is the first crucial step that one must take and because choosing this road is by no means simple, one needs to have bravery or guts to do so.

However, after the decision has been made, the real pain or battle will start since you now have to guide your life in the direction of what you have thought or chosen. Therefore, there is no perfect time, or rather, I would say that no priest or anybody else will get up and pick out the perfect time for you, telling you that this is the ideal time to start preparing and that you will succeed. You should continue moving forward with your preparation and never turn back once the correct time has come for you to start thinking about or aiming to become a public servant.

Like they used to be a few years ago, there were not many prospects in the UPSC field for people who came into this preparation after receiving their graduate degrees since they believed they should have another choice or fallback before beginning UPSC preparation. Even now, many people still attend this preparation along with a job in their hand.

Today, however, this is not the case as it was in the past. For example, students in school now choose to work as civil employees, and doing so at this young age is not bad because they have the choice to do so.

HOW ARE OPPORTUNITIES SPEED UP IN UPSC PREPARATION?

Let's use a school student as an example who considered becoming a civil servant as early as ninth grade or, let's say, the 12th grade. Do you believe that student should not think in this way or that student should stop thinking in this direction and instead focus on another career path at this time? Then you are definitely not because it is imperative that you pursue this given the rising rivalry and concurrently high standard of the UPSC examination.

Therefore, in the same vein, EDEN IAS, a renowned or recognizedIAS coaching facility in Delhi, has provided a full-fledged UPSC preparation course that was also created by academic professionals in response to the demands and needs of the candidates.

For instance, they enrolled in LAKSHYA, a 3-year foundation program that is specifically created and maintained for college students who are interested in pursuing IAS preparation in addition to their academic studies. Many students have benefited from the fundamental materials and activities that they have incorporated throughout their whole three-year course, and many more will succeed in the future as a result of their efforts. For example, in order to support my argument, I chose a few fundamental or important concepts from this curriculum, some of which are as follows:

  1. Learn about the UPSC environment in its initial stages, including what it is and how it operates. All of this is possible with the aid of the UPSC syllabus, which functions as a mirror and reveals the precise ratios of the components that make up the UPSC.
  2. Then, after becoming accustomed to a comfortably pace, you are given the opportunity to read the fundamental texts, which are the NCERTs. In light of the fact that kids in class 12 or college come from a variety of backgrounds and may become disengaged with the material they learn in school, this will be to their advantage.
  3. Newspaper also plays a significant role in the preparation process, which is why DNA-specific daily news analysis sessions are organized and you're taught about the big stories that are necessary for UPSC preparation and can be regarded as significant for exams. Additionally, learners are instructed in the approach and manner in which to read the newspaper, such as how one should read it like a UPSC applicant rather than like someone reading it while seated in a chai tapri and sipping tea.
  4. Two intense programs on essay writing have been planned, and one of them will take a beginner all the way up to a high level. For instance, once you have a firm grasp of all the fundamental ideas, you will be taught to write in the context of a daily assignment-based question, regardless of how basic the writing is. All of this has been improved with the aid of a program called SUGAM, which evaluates the entry-level of answer writing.
  5. With the assistance of STEPS, an advanced level program that establishes a step-by-step strategy for your UPSC exam preparation, your writing standard will improve as you move in your preparation.

This entire detailed section determines your level of preparation, including what is happening and what needs to be included as a crucial element in your planning. But in addition to all of this, this institute is well known for its mentorship programs, which evaluate each participant's capacity for problem solving in the context of experts or subject specialists. Since the candidates are investing three years in their preparation, all of these doubt-clearing resources are quite beneficial to them.

Additionally, this 3-year foundation course offers a wealth of interesting and fantastic prospects, and those who enroll in it take a very different approach by participating in a variety of brand-new experiences and exposures.

Happy learning!
